Dr. Georg Fischer joined SAP AG on January 1, 1984, after completion of a doctoral program in mathematics. At SAP, he focused on the development of HR software in SAP® R/2® and SAP® R/3® systems. He was responsible for various development teams, including payroll, master data management, and time management. Dr. Fischer has also functioned as consultant on a number of diverse projects. As managing director, Dr. Fischer has been responsible for software development at target since 1997.
Dr. Gerhard Wiechert also joined SAP AG on January 1, 1984, after completion of a doctoral program in mathematics. He was development head for the HR-Personnel Administration product, covering the functional areas of master data management, time management, applicant development, travel expenses, and payroll. He provided customer support management for a number of large HR customer projects as project lead for the implementation of SAP HR for numerous customers. As managing director, Dr. Wiechert has been responsible for sales and marketing at target since 1997.
The project was completed in time, on budget, and at high quality – implementing those three elements simultaneously is not a given in today’s IT landscape.
