Integrating your SAP data
On-premise or cloud - however you use SAP Human Capital Management: target makes it easy to integrate your HR SAP data into Idea and Innovation Management. Because we know: Both solutions have a valuable role to play. More and more companies are relying on the cloud to accelerate the digitization of human resources. At the same time, core HCM matters, such as payroll, often still need to be installed and run on the premises - SAP has promised to continue developing and maintaining SAP ERP Business Suite based on the SAP HANA in-memory database until at least 2040. For target customers: We offer various options for integrating your HR data - regardless of whether you map your HR on-premises in your ERP system or use the SAP SuccessFactors cloud solution.
On-premise or cloud?
More and more companies value cloud computing as a convenient and efficient IT tool: Depending on the size of the company, somewhere between 65 and 80 percent of business operations are run in the cloud. Why? Cloud applications are usually faster and cheaper to deploy than on-premise solutions. Streamlining work processes is also even easier. Another advantage: Unlike many local ERP installations, cloud applications are ideal if many employees or external persons need to be able to access them.
Internal cloud or public cloud?
For data privacy or IT security reasons, some companies prefer to run their own data center. If this solution also incorporates features of the cloud, this is what we call an internal cloud (in contrast to the public cloud).

target cloud solutions offer you the choice between an internal or the public cloud. If the public cloud fits the bill, we recommend using SAP Cloud Platform (SCP).
